Interesting Freelance Project
I was recently commissioned to write a document management site for staples digital copy services (www.staplesdcs.com). They already had a site, written in php, but it was really old and broken. I was to write a document management application and wrap it with their existing website. Essentially replacing the old document management application. One of the main requirements was to have drag and drop multi-file upload applet. It ended up working out pretty nicely. I used [rubyzip](http://rubyzip.sourceforge.net/) to implement multiple file download and [backgroundrb](http://backgroundrb.rubyforge.org/) for background notifications on new file uploads. Here are a few screenshots (the header is from the old site that I had to port into my application):
