My Suggestions To Digg

As I am sure you know, a lot of times, the same story will be dugg up to the front page multiple times. This happens because the person who is submitting the URL to digg is submitting a different post about the same story. They are they same story and usually if you follow both posts all the way through they eventually end up at the same post. If you allowed users to submit additional URLs to a story posted to digg, then when someone new came along and tried to digg a story that has already been dugg, it will be more difficult for that story to go through as a unique story. The 'duplicate story' bury could also be expanded to accept a digg post that this is a duplicate of. At some threshold, similar to the inaccurate threshold, there could be a message displayed saying: 'This story may be a duplicate of this other dugg story. Maybe you should digg the original instead of this.' Okay, well those are some ideas I have had. You guys have probably thought of them already, but if not, I figured I would just send my suggestions. Keep up the great work!
